 Phase 1 is the development of a comprehensive site master plan guided by a draft functional program and output specification documents (design required application of LEAN principles). Providence Health Care is a Catholic organization providing health care services on eight sites in Vancouver, BC, and is a partner in the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority. The Legacy Project is an initiative launched by Providence Health Care to better meet the needs of their acute care patients. The project will include the design of a new acute care facility to replace the existing St. Paul’s Hospital in downtown Vancouver.
