 This 650,000 square foot, 375-bed acute care regional hospital includes acute care services, forensic mental health, a helicopter pad and base hospital facilities to serve all of North Western Ontario. Furthermore, the complex includes the 68,000 square foot North Western Ontario Regional Cancer Centre.

Embracing humanism, the complex design's dramatic use of wood, and multiple-height interior spaces flooded with natural light, creates dynamic innovative, functional places for healing.
