Tye Farrow presented "THE INTANGIBLE FACTOR: Design Quality Standards that Inspire" at AIBC Annual Conference

The intangible nature of design can be a barrier to gaining support for human-centred standards. Tye Farrow's session, on May 7, 2010 at the Architectural Institute of British Columbia's annual conference, described specific strategies for communicating the value of intangibles and for developing highly specific, meaningful design criteria linked to desired business outcomes. Case studies and research results were presented that demonstrate the impact of a design process that succeeds by aiming higher.
