The design for the master plan includes optimal space and locations for indoor areas, such as labs, studios, classrooms, seminar rooms, formal and casual study areas and a new Arts Centre to focus on the integration of the Creative Arts (including visual arts, music and drama), as well as a strategic open space system that will complement the building orientation and preserve major outdoor playing field sites. The design will also include methods to integrate the site’s natural assets, identifying for preservation existing mature tree alignments and supplementing with new planting to reinforce the pedestrian and vehicular routes. The pedestrian circulation route will provide universal accessibility to all new and existing functions.
In addition, the Farrow / Quadrangle master plan design will enable the development of a capital budget to be used in
