Marta Belcourt has extensive experience in the preparation of working drawing and construction documentation, as well as site supervision. Marta has a sharp eye for detail along with a big-picture understanding of the impact of design decisions on project outcomes. As a senior technologist Marta coordinates projects through the various stages of construction, working together with clients and consultants. She has a Degree in Architectural Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Arquitecture, Mexico, a Master of Urban Studies from the University of Montreal, Quebec, and is a graduate of the Functional Business Administrator Program, with a major in project management, from INCAE Business School.

Stephen M. Black

Health Care Planner and Clinical Specialist
Stephen Black is a health care planner who also has in-depth knowledge of programming, workload studies, process re-engineering and implementation planning. He has facilitated large-scale process re-design and implementation (i.e., move-in) exercises and he is experienced with applying the methodologies of Lean for Healthcare to the design of both process and the physical facility.
He is particularly skilled at synthesizing large amounts of data from input by user groups, then building consensus to move forward. He is a strategic thinker who is exceptionally detail oriented. His focus in the past has been on innovation in planning and processes (e.g., perimeter ORs, flexible intensive care model for Mental Health, Women's Centres for Imaging, and alternative approaches to patient admission). His experience also includes user group facilitation and coordination between architectural and programming documentation.
Stephen completed his undergraduate studies in architecture at the University of Toronto and his graduate studies in theology at Tyndale University College and Seminary. He is a Registered Architect in the Province of Ontario and a Certified Health Executive of the Canadian College of Health Service Executives. Stephen has been appointed (2010-2013) to the Society of Critical Care Medicine's ICU Design Committee. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists and is currently involved in the development of a number of guidelines including those for the preparation of sterile medications. And, he is actively involved as a member of the Community and Hospital Infection Control Association-Canada.

Bessie Chan has experience in the design, construction and review of diverse building renovations and architectural project types including hospitals, long term care facilities, houses, recreational facilities and retail stores. Her project management skills include strong organizational and communication abilities through various phases of projects, including design development, construction documentation, and contract administration.

Hong Kim
B.Arch. Project Management
Hong Kim is a project manager who has special expertise in quality assurance, risk mitigation and constructability. He has gained a wealth of project management experience working with teams to deliver over 15 million square feet of health care and other building types. His attention to detail and strong technical knowledge contributes to the orderly implementation of a program within the prescribed budget and timetable. Hong completed his undergraduate studies in architecture at the University of Hanyang in Seoul, Korea.
